The Yas Marina circuit in Abu
Dhabi hosted this weekend the Gulf 12 Hours, the final round of the 2022
Intercontinental GT Challenge. Two crews were racing the AF Corse x
Francorchamps Motors Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 in the PRO class of endurance
race.

GT3 Pro - The race started at 10.00 am
and finished at 10.00 pm local time on the 5.281 kilometre Yas Marina circuit
with its 16 corners. After two hours of racing, Nielsen's no. 50 was leading
the race. Six hours later, more than half way through the race, the places were
being redistributed. After eight hours, we found ourselves in the lead of these
12 hours of the Gulf with Pier Guidi on board the no. 71. The hours went by and
at the tenth hour, Pier Guidi was still maintaining his leadership with only
two hours to go. After twelve hours of racing, Fuoco confirmed the domination
of the Ferraris, crossing the finish line in first place in the No. 71,
followed by the No. 50 which took second place.
It is the perfect way to conclude this 2022 season, full of victories, titles and emotions. This season also marks the end of a reign, the Ferrari 488, which will be replaced next season by the ambitious new born Ferrari 296 GT3.
