At 11:00 am the power unit installed on the car let out its first roar, in the presence of Frédéric Vasseur, several team members, including Vice President Piero Ferrari and CEO Benedetto Vigna.

The initial start-up is always a very special moment for a Formula 1 team, the first time the power unit comes to life once assembled on the chassis after months of work and development by the respective departments. The sound of the V6 hybrid was heard for just under two minutes, followed by a round of applause from those present. Then, with silence restored, the team went back to work on the car, which will be officially launched on Tuesday 14 February in Maranello at 11.25am.
